After a lovely week away, I have once again resumed my delightful sewing, gardening
and the various bits and pieces which form this busy, but truly wonderful life...

Today is beautifully overcast and just a little chilly...rain during the night and early morning
left the earth shining and fresh... Dainty water droplets adorn the flowers, like diamonds...
I just finished baking a deliciously rich chocolate cake for Lady Beth's birthday tomorrow,
and have now settled down to share a lovely little giveaway with you!
My sweet and remarkably creative sister, Nancy, has been quite industrious in her craft room lately, and designed and made these charming little crocheted earrings which she is kindly offering

Hello my sweet friend! I am happy to see a post from you. I have been so busy lately and haven't had much time to write or read blogs but I am catching up a little tonight. Your sister is quite talented...just like you! While the earrings are so pretty, I am not going to participate in the giveaway as I do not have pierced ears. I never have. SOmetimes I think I wil go have them pierced, but I have yet to do it. Please let her know though that I think they are simply lovely and she is quite talented. It must run in your family. Have a blessed and lovely day.

Oh, what beautifully elegant earrings! Your sister is very talented....I love her creation. They are so delicate, too. She must have had to use a verrry small hook to crochet them :)
My Nana once gave me a small, intricate flower her mother had crocheted many years ago....it has a similar lace-like pattern.
It is one of my treasures and the only memento I have from my great grandmother...your post made me think of her today.

What sweet crocheted earrings, Kelly-Anne! I remember crocheting small items like that (many lovely doilies). I rarely wear earrings anymore, and it must be because we are retired and rarely get very dressed up...and my hair covers my hears too. Hehe! They will look lovely one someone special, I'm sure!
